The great Statesman Patrick Henry was a champion of Liberty we can look to in these dark times when tyranny threatens us all, regardless of race, color, or creed.  In one of his famous speeches Henry said, “Sir, we are not weak, if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power.  Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. … The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.”

There are approximately 500,000 people in the Second Congressional District.  By working together to promote Liberty as defined by America’s founders, we can enhance the lives of every honest, God-fearing person, regardless of race.  Tyrants promise things they cannot deliver without plundering another man’s goods and destroying a portion of everyone’s freedom and moral character.  Let’s unite under the banners of Liberty, not tyranny, and become the vigilant, active, and brave people that America needs in these dangerous times.
